I know, and it ain't sound too good. Not only a lotta people want to run RAGE Plugin Hook (RPH) in GTA V, especially when it comes to LSPDFR. This is where it comes in. A simple tutorial for those who's having the game cracked to latest version (online version 1.41) but got issues in running RPH, because the game got modded or apparently, those who wanted to avoid the original files from being hijacked after being modded and, "oh sh*t, I forgot to make a backup!" that sort of thing, so you can't play GTA Online at least until you do redownload @ Steam or using installation DVD to reinstall/repair the missing files after you mod it.
RPH is currently relying on Steam to inject the executable. If your game is cracked (pirated), then a likely reason that RPH will notify you that it has failed to launch Steam. If it did, it will detect the game, but somehow it will end up in failure. I know, sounds complicated, right? If a legit version, there can be no problems, BUT... since RPH, ASI plugin, and SHDN scripts can make ya get banned from playing GTA Online, it should be easy for you who want to do the sh*t you want, especially since LSPDFR is solely depending on RPH that can do trouble with GTA Online if you get it running.
I know the devs are trying to make LSPDFR supports online gameplay, but... Rockstar Games have a strict rules on online gameplay, especially when mods in place that considered "a cheat". IV does, but one that considered cheat is where you use God Mode with the trainer. SAMP... idk, never touched it.
Well, instructions I give ya are simple:
On the screenshot I provided will display police station locations after the game has loaded (LSPDFR plugin). That means if there are no problems, game is successfully loaded with RAGE Plugin Hook. Another most notable appearance when RPH is loaded is the text at the bottom right of your screen, if you haven't changed its settings at the start of RPH.
However, one more thing: DO NOT run RPH after the game has been loaded (or when texts have been displayed before game load); it'll cause insta-crash (CTD) the moment you Alt-Tabbed into the game or clicked on the V logo on taskbar. And don't forget to disable Autosave feature in case if you "accidentally" completed the game under the cop model. Also don't use Quick Save if you wanna be safe otw (unless if you are using Player model).
And the utmost last, if you're running only RPH, don't try to play online. It'll consider a cheat. Cracked (pirated) game is an exception; the moment you open up GTA Online, a higher chance that you'll be buzzed out of it, since the moment you go online, the moment the server knows that you are using pirated version of the game. And the worst, cops might come to ya house and busted.
Well, I was hoping for this tutorial to be worth it. It's not much, but I think it helps, for people who's having issues with RPH while playing in a cracked (pirated) version of the game. And note, RPH itself is still an alpha version, and it may get updated as the time goes.
(Notice as of August 24, 2018) Apparently, I own the game the legit way. If the RPH can't load properly once it entered the loading sequence (loading screens show up), try it. It works for me. And please note, RPH for versions older than 0.63.1224.15140 (intended for After Hours DLC) will not be available for use (they have removed support for older versions as they update their RAGE Plugin Hook). Always stay checked at RPH website if the RPH devs released a new one for your game.

Well, instructions I give ya are simple:
- Make sure the splash video of Rockstar Games and Rockstar North is NOT modified (i.e. changing it to a blank one). This is most notably known in VisualV mod as it replaces the video with a blank one. If not, pull out its original video from the original update.rpf and do replace it. If you install the mods on the mods folder, go to mods\update\update.rpf\x64\movies directory with OpenIV and replace rockstar_logos.bik with the original one you pulled out. This is required to buy you some time to use step 3 mentioned later.
- Start GTA V from the launcher (i.e. GTAVLauncher.exe) or from Steam (if you do use it).
- While in the splash video, Alt-Tab out of the game or use Ctrl+Alt+Del (if switching is unresponsive and the splash video keeps playing) to display the "emergency" menu (for Windows 7 and later, XP is not supported) and cancel out so you are back to the desktop or folder where you run GTA V.
- Locate the game directory where it contains RAGEPluginHook.exe (it usually contained alongside the launcher and the main executable, as well as plugins there).
- Run RAGEPluginHook.exe, wait until the injection process is complete (usually takes 5 or 10 seconds, depending on your hard drive).
- Go back to the game again (Alt-Tab or click on the V logo on taskbar) and voila!
