[REL|FC2] Naruto 607 RU and US Advanced Weapons v1.0

Thought I have some free time in Idul Adha and have a 2.1 gigs quota from midnight till 6 o'clock, this dawn, I uploaded the bigger ones for FC2.

It's a compilation of all mods since 0.65 with separated multiple-time installation. Introducing you the version 1.0 of Naruto 607 RU and US Advanced Weapons.

Well, as you know, the description I placed on v0.65 is as same as this version, with latest package, patches, and some "selected" mods of my favorite, including the RF13's Runway Mod Pack.

Still, you should take a note that this package is VERY BIG; 1.5 gigs in one compressed package consisting of:
  • 1.2 gigs of one main package
  • about 300 MB of patches and "selected" mods of my favorite
Changelog can be viewed here, although you can view it later on post-installation. You can use automatic (with ModMan v7.3.0.0) or manual; it's all up to you.

It is recommended to upgrade your FC2 version to v1.2.1 prior to installing this package.

  • Reduced MiG-31 pylons to normal, so it won't go "extreme" as actual MiG-31BM mod
  • Introduced French weapons (SCALP, Belouga, etc.) and working Durandal bombs - previously bugged and unusable in vanilla FC2

  • Fixed weapon payloads for all aircrafts, including noticable Su-24M with its underfuselage fuel tank on pylon 5 instead of 4

  • Fixed weapons position of EA-6B, MiG-29A/G/S, and more others
  • Removed Su-25T weapons not displaying properly for player-controlled aircrafts
  • Added Payload Image for F-111F and EA-6B (and Ka-52 too, but uses Ka-50 payload image)
  • Fixed ODAB-500PM weapons deployment - since chute drag method is extremely buggy and resulted in unable to deploy (NOLA), I use the conventional one, without chute drag
  • LOD adjustment for LAU-10/61 and UB-32M1-57, should display properly even though AdA rocket pods are not installed on French aircrafts, but "other" aircrafts
  • Weapons adjustment for some helicopters and airplanes - to make it even more realistic
  • Some Russian-made ships are available in some NATO countries (not all of them)
  • New Weapons Payload and names
  • Proper callsign for ATC contact in "Su-33 - Air Refueling Training" mission - no longer 051 is pronounced 510 and 052 is pronounced 520
  • Osetr helicopter is swapped to Mi-24V, assigned in AFAC mission, and will land at Neustrashimy destroyer not too far from the attack point @ WP2 in "Su-33 - Air Refueling Training" mission
  • Indication of "Tbilisi was hit and is on fire" no longer based from how much damage the Albatros destroyer get (too sensitive and yet this is not DCS World) in "F-15C - Naval Games" mission but based on the condition whether the ship bursts into flames and sunk (Unit Dead trigger)

Known Bugs

 Yeah, after continuous updates of this mod, it has some bugs, which most of them are unfixable (it is advisable that you read this, if you don't and complained about this then I refuse to help you):
  • Mod attacks the AI directives
  1. AI aircrafts that is on either CAP, Escort, Fighter Sweep, GAI, and Intercept have a tendency of unable to intercept other hostile fighters
  2. For some reason, wingman AI when playing as player with 2, 3, or 4 wingmen are still be able to perform "Engage Bandits" even though enemy aircrafts have an AI bug (stated in no.1)
  3. AI bug may relate with newly added weapons or new aircraft models (or both)
  • IAB-500 bomb drop is buggy - soon as the bomb dropped, the bomb became invisible and later explodes on the ground.
  • B-707 flight maneuver is very buggy - aircraft cannot compensate customized weight since it's in unused Tu-143 slot - tried in 5 sim trials.
  • SEM flight maneuver is quite buggy - higher altitude led the plane to a major stall right to 1000 meters at high speed - tried in 3 sim trials.

Final Notes

Well, it's time to get this mod came to a full stop. I can't upgrade even more of this mod as the bug is unfixable. So, yeah, this is the final version of the mod.

Can't say another reason why I quit upgrading this mod, but as you know, I got a new game installed on my PC and it interests me even very much: "South Park - The Stick of Truth". Old game, but comfy on my PC - equaled with games worth 7 gigs such as Red Alert 3 and LOFC2. Read my old post about it; for you who still playing it or was playing it, I assume you know what I mean.

I'll go on to another one - the Unofficial VNAO FC2 v3.0.0 mod, which it's even more lighter than this huge mod. I still need to stay away from 1-MOD v3.4 and AdA-Mod v2.00, though; need a monitor with bigger resolution.

I can't provide screenshots here, but maybe later, when I have time minding this post.

Finally, have fun with it! I spent days to work on this mod alone, so I hope it's good.
