This is the last version of Realistic Weapon mod for GTA IV I made. It maybe not final, it maybe don't. This last version features easy installation for newbies to directly feel the realism of regular GTA weapons that has major limitations.
Most of the limitations have been addressed by increasing the range of the projectiles that hit. Sniper rifles tend to hit even farther than assault rifles, particularly because of the large-sized caliber of the bullets. SVD sniper rifle tend to hit farther than AK-47. Generally, this is used as a base for playing sniper-based video games like Sniper Elite 4.
I've been also adding compatibility checks with many mods, especially weapon mods by JulioNIB, such as Minigun script and Jerry Can script. Tranquilizer script by InfamousSabre is on minimum aids of testing, but yet is compatible. It's practically simple: I have a script, but I don't use it. Same goes to his Pickups script. It particularly don't go well with my own realism set that, how can a man can carry MP5K and M4 at the same time, while actually MP5K is not a "pistol"? Micro Uzi, otherwise, can be categorized as an "automatic pistol".
This last version of the mod also includes maximum complexity of weapon adjustments based on the gun caliber and ammunition upgrades like in Fallout: New Vegas game.
It's not yet accurate to calculate the best damage for weapons, but generally on default pedpersonality.dat, shooting a healthy man with a Desert Eagle can cause instant death.
I had to do the higher damage for weapons as I had a low rating for version 4X @ GTAGaming, which it takes the configuration back to MattyDienhoff's style. So in conclusion, I never did the lower damage output on my future releases of Realistic Weapon Data mod again. In return, setting up the pedpersonality.dat properly is very advisable. That's why I included the Tough Peds by cp1dell into the compatibility mods list as it is the only mod that increases ped toughness so that they won't die quickly when being shot.
