Visual Studio 2015

Image
There's an obsolete ASI mod for GTA V that needs attention on this current version of the game: Weapon Attachment Trainer (WAT, as in... what? without an h). Last version is 1.1 and source code is available on his GitHub page . Trouble is, his project that uses Visual Studio is later than mine, which is 2012 version, whereas his was 2013. Just confirmed the day before this announcement was made, which is about months or maybe a few years ago. And likewise, my time is strictly limited. So, jerked it out, I decided to search for perhaps the latest Visual Studio on the internet, preferably the ISO-packed ones. This allows me to install applications while not connected to the internet. Well, had to be prank, though, 2019 and 2017 versions don't have ISO packages available online, whereas 2015, 2013, 2012, and older have . Hell, I'm not also even joking about Google Search. Even after 2 years since VS2017 was out, there're no ISO-packed installers out there - you have...

First DLC Mission - sounded insane at first, but...

Image
My first gameplay in this new DLC mission was somewhat like... holy cow, how many planes are in there? No doubt, Steam Forums for Ace Combat 7 described this DLC mission 1 titled "Unexpected Visitor" as " Ace Combat 04's Comona", forgot what mission number it is in there. TugaAvenger, Ace Combat Fan, and SkylineGTRFreak have already made those gameplay in their own style, as well as SlyCooperFan1. Mine? F-16 does sound crazy for this insane mission, but... it's at least I can give it a try. Two remaining DLC missions that'll be released next month and 2 months later will be likely using F-16, trying to beat the impossibility that even a crap/cheap fighter jet in Ace Combat can do the most difficult missions. Hell, I can do Ace Combat 5 's final mission in F-4X and MiG-21-93. Nothing is impossible, I'd say. You can check out my new video below.

Modding time is back on track again!

Image
Not even my time to go back home to do some sh*t, Alex has finally back on track! Along with the first DLC mission release of Ace Combat 7 . Guess I can take my time modding without insanity now, but rn, ZM3 license period will tick out. Forums can now relax for a while, but that doesn't mean problems related to GTA V will stop there. I mean, Ik there are a lot of problems people have with their GTA V, such as game crashes (as in, related to new launcher Rockstar Games has announced) and problems with online "modders" lurking around, spoiling gameplay, griefing, or dropping money to other players WITHOUT any single report filed in to that "modder" in question. Hell, people even accused modders that mod only singleplayer game (and maybe they'll accuse ME as a modder in question) and not for online gameplay. I may guess script injectors that can ruin online gameplay like... upside f-ing down; there's hardly any evidence about car/plane/ped mods made it...

Forum cry: the game update borked the ScriptHookV

The Steam Forums for GTA V cried, and the moderator closed the commentary of the ScriptHookV page on 5-Mods, about the new "system" Rockstar Games announced, their very own game launcher (epic? or not?). I have no idea what's going on, saying that there're crashes here and there, and how people hate modding despite claims that it was intended for single-player, with model modification and such, and not to mention FiveM, the platform I can expect as an alternate online world of GTA separated from actual GTA: Online . People bragged about how they can't mod singleplayer anymore, and I just found out why: ScriptHookV. Forums cried about it, Ik. The GTA V executable had its revision numbered 6 (1.0.1737.6), which is updated compared to the current ScriptHookV version it was intended to (1.0.1737.0). The update borked the ScriptHookV and people were advised to roll back to version it was intended to until Alex (Alexander Blade) updates the ScriptHookV version to s...

Password reset: RGSC

Image
My friend's hunch is right. Rockstar Games now do have their own launcher, a somewhat one step forward of RGSC. I just claimed a free copy of GTA San Andreas before the offer ends. However, something has blocked me from doing it, but eventually succeeded. Password. Put my facepalm on my face, pretty please. Why I'm saying this? Somehow both the Launcher and the Social Club website can't allow me to log in due to password mismatch, but I swear I put it just as the note I written down (not using password manager - I tend to stick in a classic way of storing passwords). Perhaps I miss one word or key, but my PayPal account was just fine and have no trouble logging in. At least my e-mail login still works. I submitted a password reset to Rockstar and then it was done without hassle. New password, still stronger one, thanks to the Google Search because of the darned Facebook mistaking me as someone accessed my account from another computer or device, but it was me all ...

Getting bored - something has disturbed me for quite a while now

Image
Yes, Ik, I'm getting bored to do Mitsuki or Konohamaru models at this time. In fact, just heard today's news that Rockstar Games has its own launcher. Wut? This looks like something new to hear, especially since a friend in Steam told me that GTA SA was free for a limited time due to its new launcher arrival by Rockstar (or R*, if that's how you write it). I have several old videos from maybe few months ago or last year I downloaded from YouTube. There's this disturbing fact about how Germany can win WWII, but the reality is, Germany lost the war. I swear, though, I found this somewhere when I was downloading some sh*t videos to be used in my YouTube video projects. To be frank, a video about how Germany can win WWII is a fiction, and compared to the other video about "WWII in Europe", it was on the contrary with the fiction that was made up. I dunno how it got appear on the recommendations list; in fact, randomly watching videos will show suggestions link...

Splitting arm meshes

Image
Well, there's no other choice beside not having it accidentally painted (weighted). And just in time, I found out that selecting vertices via "Element" helped me simplify the mesh detaching big time. This sounded like a difficulty to do, to say that Mitsuki's arms are in that long-sleeved robes, in what I describe as the Japanese's (maybe Chinese's?) icon of clothing. ZModeler 3, however, has provided simplicity for users, and that sounded like... nothing impossible when you model a ped mod from another game as a raw material (either OBJ, 3DS, or any other readable format the ZM3 can read) into GTA V or whatever game you like that supports ped modeling. Sarada model (and perhaps Konohamaru - adult version and Boruto), on the other hand, was pretty much simple compared with Mitsuki. If I didn't figure this out how to split the arm meshes safely without hassle, this will take a significantly longer time, not to mention tests, and repairing my modding e...
