Okay, so... while I took a break from games (still pending on Machinima as I found... shit, Ace Combat Fan got a double-strike on his channel to say that his video parodies got struck by a company and got his channel demonetized), I'm back with plans on new mod downloads and new games.
This Red Alert 3: Uprising game gives me a real pain in the ass that I stuck on repeating same challenges just to top up credit stash used for emergency purposes. The real reason I'm doing this is because there are 3 challenges that are really difficult for me to handle. I'm not saying that this is impossible, but you're dealing with 3 or 4 enemy bases with random and combined strength and super weapons. I ended up getting squashed before even sending a large amount of units to attack a base. Anyway, I might ended up with more than 2.5 million stash in this case. Also, I have done speedrunning on 4 challenges (completing them under par time) with one mission being 3 seconds less than par time. Ain't that a lucky break?
I have to say, being a Youtuber has its own challenge. You getting popular and one of the videos you have just got struck by some random company who claimed that it was theirs you portrayed. You got a strike and the rules say, "three strikes and you're out". If the strike is the first-time, you have to complete the school and wait for a month to allow you uploading videos. Of course you can always dispute this if you have authentic proof to explain.
I've seen one who have this kind of strike, and not just ACF. Anime Balls Deep also got one few months ago. One of the videos of "Boruto and relations of Shinobi War" that kind of thing got struck by a company who 1) don't like the content of the video, 2) has a scene or something that is, abusing their copyright, and 3) portions of anime content are theirs to keep and no one shall replay it in other videos. In conclusion, you can either display other content instead of anime, or use props or illustration like in presentation video. Jim Browning's videos are one of the examples.
Anyway, I rarely do videos; hell, my sister, who wasn't a celebrity, also makes videos, but with less subscribers. I'm following who and what content I like, and I upload when there's no one can do.
So here I'm on a few mods hunting and downloading some sh*ts I like, and then I continue work on Construct 2 project. I found few mods on 5-Mods today and one of them is one that I'm looking for in a really long time.
This AS-350 LASD paintjob for Skyline's AS-350 helicopter is equivalent to the lore-friendly LSSD helicopter that Yard1 designed.
If I recall on my previous post when there was a WannaCry (WannaCrypt0r) ransomware incident (post-malware incident - I was so paranoid of my data inside the PC that time), I have said that AS350 "Écureuil" operators within the police force has Los Angeles Sheriff Department (LASD) listed. Likewise, I was wanting somebody to do this in order to satiate my boredom of just regular V cars and planes being involved in a police chase. And, after a year passed, the guy by the author name Elope has done it. Yay! 😃
So I checked on the date it was published. March 1, 2018. 7 months ago since this writing. Before I own GTA V on Steam, he has done it. Idk what to say, but this is what I've been looking for, for realistic RDE environment, although there are incompatibilities with the latest version of the game. Seriously, where are these people (RDE developers) going?
I've tried RDE with After Hours DLC version and I got some crashes, particularly in police chase and whenever I go to downtown area. Perhaps it's the WOV (World of Variety) that is faulting, so I restarted plain with more than 200 (maybe 300 or more) add-on vehicles, IV Car Pack, and WOV DLC peds and vehicles with installing neither WOV data nor IV Car Pack data. I might as well try again in a new DLC compilation of RDE, of which I call this "unofficial compilation" due to the way of merging every DLCs into one united package with adjustable content.xml file.
The others are nothing too special. Yamato-class Battleship and some real motorbikes. Skyline has modeled much of airport props into a really working vehicles, as well as real-life tanks. I recall the ship in an old PS2 game called Naval Ops: Commander which I've told you about.
And the fact that my previous blog post about the symbols of such thing are found within Bodyguard Squads mod Eddlm created. Oh now I get it. stripemcr created a video of add-on vehicles and peds depicting war between United States and Russia in a cold winter era and then simulated a war which is either using jedijosh920's Battle Simulator, Guadmaz's Map Editor, or Menyoo while using Eddlm's Bodyguard Squads mod. From the video he set up background music from Crimson Tide movie (gotta download every single one of them if there's one, because I've watched it long ago). Still, musical war scenario is like I'm watching the 1920s show.
I've noticed how that works on one of the videos I watched some time ago below.
I have to say, this is fun as sh*t. One day I'm gonna follow how does stripemcr model such video.
Anyway, how many bodyguards can you assign in that script?
Well, never mind. I can try this myself.
Next up is the new game. Since somebody stole my money in the bank and I have only a little amount of cash, I ended up buying the Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 while it's on 80k price. Fortunately I was having 110k wallet for my plans on buying ACV (Air Conflicts: Vietnam), but I drop it as I found majority of negative reviews of that game. Don't ask.
If I'm having it, I'd like to use it as a developers resource. Same goes when it comes to Air Missions: Hind. There's one mod similar to this that is really buggy (game crashes when the helicopter rotor gets in contact with object and no rotor blur effect), and I'm eager to wait for somebody to release one with high stability.
Alright then, now I'm off, I'll see you guys next time on another post. Take care now.
