Something tells me that Boruto Uzumaki fanon version isn't right...

To start this post, fanon means everyone can make crazy and weird ideas, right? Much composed to that of a fan fiction? Well, on my search for new Boruto wallpaper, smh this came up in the picture searches leading to a fanon version of Boruto Uzumaki, which is beyond me that the gal who called herself Yuheng of Liyue Qixing (the machine translation smh gave up on this one 😅 despite it sounded Chinese to me) decided to make the article exclusive to the Naruto Fanon website (with also no redistribution or citation to that site unless the author has given permission). Like, bruh, why? It's normal for someone to cite an article or source for research purposes, like, for essay or paper assignments (I was an Informatics graduate and I did an essay for graduation, citing articles and such to be linked up with Mendeley - great site and citation referencing app for scholars and academic students, BTW), and there's no need to be barred under copyright unless someone changed its contents and uploaded on a separate page without permission. 😑

I gotta be honest; the point that I'm making Trigger to Boruto (TTB) mod for AC7 isn't fanon like what this supposed gal is trying to convey. TTB is a full fan fiction mod that basically retains AC7's storytelling, but having main protagonist swap so that Trigger has a known identity. Kinda ironic that he's attained the "Harling's Murderer" nickname while he's better known by the people as the "Renegade Hokage Killer" 😅 (this is actually conveyed in the Two Blue Vortex manga that is still ongoing; the actions during the Lighthouse War was several years after the events of the Two Blue Vortex manga that, who knows when it'll be done as the chapters are released monthly and no one knows when Boruto will be facing Kawaki at a destroyed Leaf Village). I'm thinking that maybe Boruto that's accused of killing his parents and Trigger that's accused of killing former Osean President Vincent Harling in Mission 4 is a pure coincidence.

So, what information is correct here?

Most (not all of 'em; I'll explain in a bit below) of the information on the right-hand box, for starters, is correct, except that the fanon version (Naruto Fanon) lacked additional information in adjacent to the actual wiki (Narutopedia). His appearance is quite wide and not just in the novel.

Problem is, what he's classified of is added in the fanon version, like, wut 🤨? S-rank? Sage? TBH, he being S-ranked ninja doesn't sound so bad (since he trained on his own from Sasuke that he attained his name and fame in the name of justice), but he having Sage Mode is kinda sus. Like, one thing for sure, Jiraiya and Naruto received their Sage Mode in Mt. Myouboku, surrounded with those "preaching" toads and frogs, you know the kind 😄😏. I can already tell that the fanon version is half-real (some parts are either referenced or used from Narutopedia) half-fan fiction (there's no way he can have the Sage Mode ability without being in contact with the toads/frogs of Mt. Myouboku and whatnot). Also, none in the leaked information about Boruto circa-2017 is saying about what his blood type is. Not even his weight 😅, although I dare say that his age is currently guesstimate. Two Blue Vortex manga advances 3 or 4 years (at estimate) after the events of BORUTO: Naruto Next Generations manga/anime series, to which after such events previously, Boruto was seeking justice from Kawaki who had his life and prosperity taken away by the insiders of the Kara group that Kawaki was in (this is just my speculation since I'm not a fan of manga reading; had a memory of my parents where reading comic books can broke your eyes 😅 back during elementary school days - typical Asian family these days...). The wiki said that Kawaki framed Boruto for killing his parents (like, literally, Naruto's the Hokage and killing him can make the one who killed him to be a most-wanted criminal in the world) while in the reality (the first few pages of the Chapter 1 of Two Blue Vortex manga), Kawaki's the one who's hiding them (Naruto and Hinata), but he fucked all of the villagers' minds in a way that the world is convinced from the lies and deception Kawaki and his group have set/programmed into their minds.

Now for the family, I can tell that it's fan fiction. Boruto was Naruto's and Hinata's oldest (first) son (the second, in fact, after Naruto adopted Kawaki as his big stepbrother), not Neji (died during the Fourth Shinobi World War) and Wakame (never heard of her). Minato and Kushina are indeed his grandparents in adjacent to those from the Hyuga clan (like Hiashi, Hizashi, and the clan's elders), but Yuzuki as his grandma? That seems odd. Hanabi is his aunt in the Hyuga clan, not Mizakura Uzumaki (AYO WAT?). He has only one little sister, Himawari, not two (who tf is Keika, BTW?). Boruto having wives is unconfirmed, as a matter of fact (at least in this year, which will enter 2026 in 2 months), not even Marie Kuroi (🙄🤔), who is said to be the vessel for Boruto (AYO WAT?).

My suspicion confirms it...

Now, scrolling down, 🙄 oh right, it's a fan fiction, alright...

I don't think there's a need to research what the fanfic is all about, but having some degree of mixed-up and added/removed information from Narutopedia is a direct telling that this Boruto I saw in a fanon version is a fanfic character, which tells differently in comparison with the events in BNNG manga/anime and the ongoing Two Blue Vortex manga. Figured as much...

The version that Yuheng of Liyue Qixing tells in Naruto Fanon is different than the one in Narutopedia, but what she's trying to portray is somewhat similar, almost aligned to the events that happened in BNNG and Two Blue Vortex, except that her version doesn't even tell that Boruto wanted to seek justice (i.e. to prove his innocence and regain everything taken from him). I mean, Momoshiki is an ass to begin with, that his ambition to take over the world is so strong he tried SO DAMN hard to make Boruto evolve into his original form given the circumstances. Isshiki or Jigen, on the other hand, is trying to retrieve back his adopted son (Kawaki) for whatever reasons he got while also having the same ambition to rule the universe. Bet my ass Momoshiki and Isshiki share different thoughts and they don't mind quarrel with each other for ideals they believe to be the best despite being from the shattered Otsutsuki clan (the same clan where Kaguya was from thousands of years ago; the people on Earth considered it as the only ancestor clan on Earth and thus extinct, at least from my knowledge about Naruto).

TBR, there are a shit ton of fan fictions out there, referencing or using any character from any film/movie/drama/cartoon series the authors/writers watched, and I believe this is one of them. It's not even right or wrong given that making a fan fiction is about creativity with storytelling; IIRC, one website that tells myths about copyrights (that I found in Nexus Forums) said that there are various reasons why fan fiction is out of equation to be considered as a copyright infringement, but there's no telling as to why there.

And yes, it is true that a lot of fan web sites and fiction violate copyright – but that’s because the owners tolerate such violations, for their own reasons.

I look up this specific sentence on Google and the AI summary comes up (it's 2025 and Gemini is trying to be the next ChatGPT now 😅).

Yes, fan fiction is technically copyright infringement because it uses someone else's copyrighted characters and worlds without permission. However, most copyright holders tolerate non-commercial fan fiction as it can act as free marketing, and they only typically take action against it when it is sold or infringes on their brand in other ways.

 🙄🤔

Surprised to say, all of the works I publicized on The Journal of Naruto Uzumaki, my other blog site for posting my Naruto/Boruto-based fan fictions, is indeed an infringement to the copyright made by the involving holders like TV TOKYO, Studio Pierrot, even the artists like the king Masashi Kishimoto and the chad Mikio Ikemoto, but seeing that they're not taking action to what I did, I can tell that they don't give a shit since most of the fanfics I read during my research for an essay are free, public domain (evidenced by the websites like FanFiction.net and Archive of Our Own, a.k.a. AO3), and not under impression that they're sold for money or any other kind of profit (my works don't even make any type of profit, literally, and the works I publicized to Nexus Mods, I simply make profit from the Unique Downloads, and not from the mod since I set my permission of all mods I published there to not sell any of my mods for money). If I have to be creative, I'd best started to create stories that are original and unique, not tied to any sorts of trademark, brand, or whatever stuff they hold dear to be considered as their right to hold. Not even planes at this rate, bruh...

Though TBR, what I focused most are the points said by Gemini. People like me LOVE to express their liking to what they saw, which is, TBH, what they consider as "creativity" and "free speech", and this is what other people are trying to figure out something they don't even know, creating attraction for people to purchase the original product or watch the original shows on TV, cinemas, or other mediums. There's no harm in making fanfics as long as it's not be made for money or other sorts of profits for your own, which is fine by me.

And this is where I wanted to express what I'm trying to say down in my last PSA post (3 years ago, man, that was such a heap). I don't mind if the Combined Forces mod for LOFC2 is taken down (which is a rehost in case if LockOnFiles website is down, also people who are military flight sim enthusiasts are moving on to DCS: World, anyway), but the fan fiction short stories I made apparently is trying to cite copyrighted work (like, bruh, what? 🙄), but hear me out; perhaps the pictures I provided in those stories are just my way to convey or illustrate what's happening (including the ones that I recreated on my own based on the second Naruto: Shippuden movie), but this CHUD called "citel video" doesn't take this kindly and through the medium of a French company LeakID, they issued a takedown on the fanfic collection I posted up on MediaFire. I then decided to alter the download link to MEGA. The affected one is Collection 1: The Hero of Our World, Naruto.

Attached on the mail MediaFire is sending to me in 2021 (4 years ago, holy shit) is the reason of suspension that is seemingly the forwarded contents of the email that they received from LeakID. If you want to see it, it's here.

Honestly, I have no idea how "citel video" is owning the copyrights of such publication shared in MediaFire, but pretty sure either they're not interested with my writings, it hurt their sales pitch (it shouldn't TBH), the works I made have pictures that they don't want to see in my writings, or all of them. I'm thinking, does "citel video" own the copyright of some military brand, items, or parts of Naruto or Naruto: Shippuden that actually TV Tokyo, Studio Pierrot, or the king Masashi himself, owns it, they don't want to see floating around on the web (there are some sayings like "Fruits Basket", "Overlord", and "Kingdom" that Idk what even those are)? Or is it like the time I talked about how Take-Two Interactive suing GTA mods that affect their sales pitch that I found it similar to this incident back in 2021? One thing for sure, though, Idk what's up with their minds that they took down my works that are (yes, in itself) copyright infringement while (yes, in itself) I publicized those for free and everyone who likes Naruto, military, and real-life setting. I don't get it. Perhaps the way I publicize those works back then was without disclaimer (i.e. credits to those who make the characters from the derivative/copyrighted works), but even then I was very young. The blog post I published that work was in 2014, which was when I first entered college (Time files for 11 years, yes? 😄), and why "citel video" took action 7 years later? I get a feeling they are unaware with my works up until somehow, anyhow (I still wonder to this day, even 🤔), my blog sites gain traction to like, 5000 to 8000 views, sometimes beyond 8000 (rarely 10000).

Well, best course of action is to just let it go, then. Neither it's gonna worth their time and effort to take down one of my works, anyway, while there are thousands of works out there that might be using "citel video's" work way worse than me; nor it's worth my time to submit a counterclaim to the issuer of the takedown request. I best prefer to avoid problems than making problems, anyway, unless it's the one that I'm willingly take for the sake of my future.

Closing

Well, this is one hectic "wall of text" (which is why I called this as my diary of all sorts of things in my life) that turned out to be very interesting to discover, despite I started off with discussing one weird discovery about a character in a fanfic that accidentally popped up in Google Images search query. It's interesting to look at, really, while also telling what happened with the other blog site that I own that it got slight changes since last time I visited it. TBH, getting away from Blaze that was having meltdown and basically "go touch grass", staying away from any modding community Discord servers (like Ace Combat ones) is the best compromise in my book, allowing me to be free and having this blog return to life. I may lost every memories gathered and recorded in the old G[B]S server, but I myself, am not gone. I only hope the future of me comes as bright as the fire shines the darkness that the last thing I will care about is myself and my future.

Idk if "citel video's" doings are good or bad, but I guess I'll take it. After all these years, all the weight and the urge of telling what's happening has been offloaded and said here for everyone fanfiction lovers to read. I hope what I write is interesting for you to read, and bring some knowledge for you to know.

Oh, and if you're interested for more comparison and research on your own, the links for those cited encyclopedias are below:

With that, I'll see you all again in the next post. Thanks for reading. 👋
