[TUT] Autumn Sunshine + HRT Install Problem now resolved

Yeah, man! Installation problem now resolved for you who wants to merge Flame's HRT 1.3 (automatic installation) with Autumn Sunshine mod. Here are the tricks, make sure you listen carefully or (seriously) you can't play it in HD:
  1. Install as normal (firstly) HRT 1.3 Enhanced Edition to your original, clean, and copy of GTA San Andreas game. Once done, follow up by Autumn Sunshine mod.
  2. Just follow the instructions provided from the Autumn Sunshine mod Readme. And don't forget to run "Only for HRT Pack 1.3.exe" file after the step 1 installation (1. autumn.exe) finished (best do it earlier than later).
  3. Okay, now this importing part. Look at the gta3.img filesize first. With a combination of HRT and first install step of Autumn Sunshine, this file has a filesize of 1,30 GB (1.403.607.040 bytes). You do importing directly with Alci's IMG Editor, saved, and rebuild it (step 2 of Autumn Sunshine installation), IMG Editor will stop rebuilding at 98% and popped up an error message saying "Failed to write entrydata."
  4. If you have done that earlier, relax. Open up that image file again with the same editor and reimport those files (make sure that you use Import (remove if exists) at start or this trick will not work correctly). Now you see that new files that imported are colored green, and previous files that replaced by the green ones are colored gray. Block the green ones and DELETE it, so it then colored gray like the previous files that replaced (to block it, you can left-click the most end of the file, scroll up until you see the grays and greens and left-click the green one below the gray one while holding Left Shift key, then press the Delete key on keyboard, or try another method). Save it and rebuild. If the pop-up error message saying "Failed to write entrydata." doesn't show up, you are in the clear (good to go). You should have a gta3.img filesize of about 1,1 GB afterwards.
  5. Now reimport those files again with the same editor and save. It should hit the filesize of about 1,98 GB (somewhat around 2.076.000 KB). Rebuild the image file and the final size should be 1,97 GB (2.121.031.680 bytes).
  6. Continue the installation of Autumn Sunshine and voilĂ ! You are now ready to play with Autumn Sunshine and HRT installed.
I have tried this in a new game and it works without any issues at all.
Oh and by the way, filenames inside the gta3.img are CASE SENSITIVE. Make sure the files that you import are in lowercase, without any words/letters that are in UPPERCASE. Otherwise you will import them files without replacing them, which is, the IMG editor will treat that filename is different so that it will be imported without replacing the original file with its filename in lowercase.

Recommend that if you install object mods, check every filenames so that there are no letters that are in UPPERCASE, e.g. (ready to import file) Cedar1_PO.dff versus (original file) cedar1_po.dff. For car mods, use GGMM (unless you put the car files other than in gta3.img).

Okay, if you want to replace vehicle models, I suggest to delete the car model files in gta3.img and place the new ones in both "textures_HQ.img" and "textures_LQ.img". Why? You can see that there is a program that allows you to scroll between HQ textures and LQ textures in the game. If you don't do it, the game will crash when you, for example, added car files (DFF and TXD files) in HQ textures archive and didn't added car files in LQ textures archive, and then run the "autumn.exe" in the game dir to swap the HQ textures to LQ textures.

Don't try to add them into "cutscene_and_peds.img". It has been reserved for an app that allows you to change peds' costume from normal to Halloween ones and vice versa. It will automatically replace the file as soon as you run it.

To note, I can't do the Naruto TC compatibility ones with this shit. The final size is about 1,97 GB, like, very impossible if I did this, might take days to change the installation procedures and upload it as a new TC mod, and fastman92 (not too often) updates his Limit Adjuster as the memory addressing checks of the GTA San Andreas EXE file continues - and with the GTA V ensues that made its debut last April. GTA IV EXE addressing checks now continues too, but not yet attracted attention to EFLC. Now this is something, while fastman92 shows interest on GTA IV addressing checks, he doesn't take attention on EFLC EXE addressing checks (which is, on version 1.1.2.0 - latest ones, I presume).

Well, instead of making this mod do nothing with fancy Naruto stuffs, I might as well make this mod installed with SAPDFR, with only free roam SCM script and shit. Ever heard PlayNoMissions mod? Once saw it at GTAGaming. Wonder if this mod still exists.

Okay, enjoy this tut, people. Hope it's helpful to you, as I did, cuz' I figured it out myself 2day.
