Real aircrafts have fitted with unique special weapons? (Ace Combat 7)

Yep, that's a small part of the new weapons introduced on real-life fighter jets based from the last "extended" trailer until few last new trailers.

You know, it raised me an anxiety about what is Osea doing while the other country is at war, like... if this is real, it's gonna be a World War III, only with fighter jets and limited missile supplies as in DCS-based games like DCS: World.

So I'm putting on my school suit to have a picture about what is that superpower country doing after the last war with Yuktobania (Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War).

So to start, all we know that before Ace Combat 04: Shattered Skies introduced, older AC games only introduced two basic weapons essentially for a fighter aircraft: machine guns for close-quarter dogfight or ground rainstorm and standard missiles. MGs are unlimited (infinite to 9999 in Air Combat) by ammo, but missiles are limited. In Ace Combat 3: Electrosphere, machine guns and standard missiles can now be a part of alternative weapon, such as MIRV (not the one in real life) for missile replacement and pulse cannon (cutting-edge shooting laser technology weapon as in Fallout 3 or Fallout 4) for MG replacement.

In Ace Combat 04, the aircraft has ability to have three weapons: machine guns, missiles, and special weapons. Of course now this is get limited by ammo. Machine guns, vary on ammo but not more than 1000 - the better the aircraft, the more it has. Missiles cap are also same as in older AC games. Special weapons, on the other hand, is becoming a new "thing," thus it's limited in numbers than missiles. AC04 only introduced bombs in size, multi-target missiles in range and purpose, highly maneuverable air-to-air missile with continuous lock-on (oh you know what that is?), anti-surface weapon, and rocket launchers. However, dunno if anyone has ever done before, but rocket launchers can be a part of alternative anti-air weapon and I once tried it in a real flight simulator like DCS: A-10C Warthog standalone and LockOn: Flaming Cliffs 2. This weapon that can be used for anti-air operations is implemented in Ace Combat: Assault Horizon.

Moving on to Ace Combat 5, new SP weapons are being introduced, such as ECM pod to disrupt missile lock-on capability and laser weapon. However, in AC5, each aircraft has its own special weapon, like MiG-21 with rocket launcher pods, F/A-18C with anti-surface missiles, and Su-37 with highly maneuverable air-to-air missile.

I haven't yet heard about any AC-based games until the announcement of Ace Combat 7 trailer since last year, and after I watched Ace Combat 6's walkthrough  videos of certain mission. The special weapons have been improved and becoming a wide variety, not much, but almost similar to Ace Combat: Assault Horizon I played few years ago.

However, it's kinda pity that gunship, helicopter, and door gunner roles are only exclusive to Ace Combat: Assault Horizon, and never on any other Ace Combat games. Gunship role is long introduced in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. Helicopter and door gunner roles are introduced on Battlefield 2, as far as I know. So to say, there is a bit of CoD memories in there. I guess on a Hitler meme Ace Combat Fan made, "the story is like Call of Duty" is true.

Okay. I have a guessing that after the war (post-New Year 2011), and while the other country is at war (like those in Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation or Ace Combat X: Skies of Deception), Osea continued to develop cutting-edge weapons for use on their fighter jets. Remember Gründer Industries introduced in Ace Combat 5? The facility close to South Belka is developing weapons from latest designs of fighter aircraft to be implemented on Osea's operational aircrafts. Let's say... laser weapon (TLS). It was introduced in one of Gründer Industries' aircraft named ADF-01 FALKEN. They used the laser-shooting technology to be implemented on aircrafts not just the FALKEN and the first-generation Morgan (ADFX-01 "Morgan"), but also on other aircrafts as well.

The first 2 images are the Su-37 outfitted with Tactical Laser System (TLS) weapon as in the FALKEN and Morgan. The last is the F-15E outfitted with the same special weapon as in Su-37, FALKEN, and Morgan.

The industry was also creating a laser weapon as in Ace Combat 3: Electrosphere, and this reminds me much of a pulse cannon used in sophisticated design of aircrafts like Delphinus and Orca in AC3 as a machine gun replacement. Still, it wasn't as fast as the regular machine gun.

First picture was T-50 PAK-FA. Last three are F-15C. The pulse cannons are in a machine gun pod form as in MiG-21.

Now the Electromagnetic Launcher (EML). Dunno about you, but I have a guessing that the industry or some other company in Emmeria, after the Emmerian-Estovakian war (Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation), shared the information about the latest aircraft and weapons design of the possessed Estovakian CFA-44 "Nosferatu" to Osea, and Gründer Industries or other company that based in Osea tried to develop the EML to be used not just on Nosferatu, but other aircrafts as well.

Osea has chosen F/A-18F Super Hornet to be a test bed for the EML special weapon and it succeeded.

Okay, now the multi-target air-to-air missile. 4 and 6 targets at once can be handled easily, but what about 8?

There's a Rafale M on the first pic using a special weapon by short name HCAA, but idk much about this special weapon's potential. The rest are the F-22A Raptor equipped with a missile container that carries AMRAAMs, which can lock-on up to to 8 air targets at once, hence the short name 8AAM.

I've watched some of the gameplay trailers, including the PS VR ones, and this name do exists.

Also, there's an F-14D Super Tomcat that can use this special weapon in a missile container form.

So I have found out that Osea, 1) is being one of the superpower countries in Strangereal universe, 2) can develop advanced weapons while the other country is at war, and 3) any and all advanced special weapons are used on the "real life" fighter jets as a test bed (like US had a plan to outfit the F-14D with capability to launch AIM-120 AMRAAM, but then canceled) in order to reduce import costs to Osea. I have to say, with this much of wonderful and advanced weapon technology, in Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown, Osea might win the war. However, that was just an assumption. The country might gonna lose the war with Erusea, which then lead to an assumption that Erusea will "burn Osea to the ground."

Well... only these unique special weapons I found during my time to watch trailers since last year. Developers might gonna put other unique weapons as well on many playable aircrafts when the game is released on PS4, Xbox One, and PC (Steam). Pre-order on Steam is opened with a price of 550k Rupiahs in Indonesia, and 770k for Deluxe edition.

I guess I'll be saving my money just then, until I get graduated and get a job. Seriously, this is what I've been waiting for, not just sitting in front of computer, playing Grand Theft Auto V with mods, and hoping somebody like SkylineGTRFreak or CANAL EMBRAER GTA to release some of the new aircraft mods for me to use as a "GTA Machinima" video for my channel.

I've stuck with emulators with only same AC games I play in. I hope AC7 is better than older AC games, of which I'm taking part as an Osean fighter pilot again, just like Ace Combat 5.
